On 1 May 2022 it will be exactly 125 years since the Glyptotek first opened its doors to visitors. The founder of the museum, Carl Jacobsen had a crystal-clear vision: to create a temple of beauty that would bring people joy.
The Glyptotek invite you to an historic day and a homage to beauty. Help us celebrate the day with a programme of music, anniversary speeches and free beer, while learning all about the unique architecture, collections and history of the museum in a series of fascinating guided tours.
Musica Ficta and Bo Holten take part with a programme of Danish music by P. E. Lange Müller, N. W. Gade and Carl Nielsen.
