Louise Odgaard

Soprano

Louise Odgaard graduated from The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus/Aalborg in 2007.

She is currently training as a soloist at ‘The Danish National Academy of Music (South Denmark) while studying with soprano Henriette Bonde-Hansen, this with baroque music as a starting point.

She has travelled the country with different ensembles such as Ensemble Zimmermann, Academic Choir and Orchestra, and performed works like Mozarts Exsultate jubilate and several Bach cantatas and oratorios.

Marie Louise is a full-time freelance singer and especially active in concerts. Apart from being a member of Musica Ficta, she is also part of the baroque quartet, Fionian Quartet, and core singer of The Danish National Concert Choir. Marie Louise is also an assistant in The Royal Danish Opera Chorus.

In her spare-time, she takes care of her four children and enjoys a run now and then.
